  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • Wash and core the apples, then slice them very thinly, about 1/8 inch thick, using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
  • In a medium bowl, gently toss the apple slices with cinnamon and sugar (if using) until evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) and arrange a single layer of apple slices in the air fryer basket; avoid overcrowding.
  • Air fry for 10-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until the chips are crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove the apple chips from the air fryer and let them cool completely on a wire rack to crisp up further before serving or storing.

Notes

For best results, slice apples as thin as possible. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model and apple thickness. Store leftover apple chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
