  • 4 fillets salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley for garnish
  • Salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, and half of the lemon juice; season with salt and pepper.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the lemon garlic butter mixture generously over each salmon fillet.
  • Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven, squeeze the remaining lemon juice over the salmon, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust baking time based on salmon thickness to prevent overcooking. For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the lemon garlic butter for 15-20 minutes before baking.
