Ingredients
  

Seasoning Blend

  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Rubbed Sage
  • 1 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Thyme
  • 0.5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional, for heat
  • 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
  • 0.125 tsp Ground Cloves

Preparation

  • Combine all the seasoning ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
  • To use, add 2 tablespoons of seasoning per pound of ground pork; mix thoroughly and cook as desired.

Notes

Store any unused seasoning in an airtight container in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months. Adjust the red pepper flakes to your preferred level of spice.
