These overnight oats taste just like brownie batter, but are made with wholesome ingredients for a healthy and delicious breakfast.

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in a jar or container.
  • Stir well to combine everything thoroughly.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  • In the morning, stir, add a splash more milk if desired, and top with mini chocolate chips.

Notes

You can adjust the sweetness to your liking. Feel free to add a scoop of protein powder for an extra boost.
