  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta cooks, cut chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic to the skillet, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
  • Add the cooked fettuccine and chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the creamy sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving and add more Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. You can also use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier result.
