Ingredients
  

Overnight Oats

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or other sweetener
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cream Cheese Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine all overnight oats ingredients in a jar or container.
  • Stir well to ensure everything is mixed and oats are submerged.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow oats to soften.

Cream Cheese Glaze

  • In a small bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the glaze over the prepared overnight oats just before serving.

Notes

For extra cinnamon roll flavor, swirl in a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon after mixing the oats. Top with chopped nuts or a sprinkle of extra cinnamon before serving.
