  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

  • ½ cup Vegetable oil
  • ½ cup Milk

Instructions
 

Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.

Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Add Wet Ingredients

  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla extract.

Mix Until Just Combined

  • Gently stir the mixture with a spoon or spatula until no dry flour remains; avoid overmixing.

Fold in Apples

  • Gently fold the cut apples into the batter, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

Pour into Pan

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.

Bake to Perfection

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool & Serve

  • Let the cake cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the batter. This cake is delicious on its own or with a dusting of powdered sugar.
