  • 2 cups cooked rice or noodles To serve with the chicken.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds Optional, for garnish.
  • Chopped green onions Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Place the chicken in the crockpot.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce if desired.

Serving

  • Serve over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if using.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can freeze it for longer storage. Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for extra flavor.
